That is a pretty lopey cam... Needs some work on his shifting but all in all not to bad.
Engines like the LS3 just serve to remind us just how fantastic of an engine the General's small block really is IMO. It does not take a whole lot of work to massage incredible amounts of power out of them. Built like tanks and when treated correctly they go like hell over and over and over again. |

I just wanted to point out that the LS3 crate engine that puts out 480hp with fuel injection uses the LS Hot Cam---But the 515hp version using a carb also gets the ASA cam. Same lift but more duration.

I wish I could get the V8, but there's just no way in hell I'll be able to afford it unless it costs under 25,000, which I really don't see happening. Knowing that the V6 will come with 304 horses makes me feel much better about it though.
