Anybody else have the pearl look to the stripe or is it a solid color?

This is a reason I have waited to put my order in let kinks be worked out and better things happen for the future.

The window sticker shows the IO stripe pkg. I dont think they would paint them on after ordering it with a 470.00 option.

You are in for a suprise....when your stripes are in the shade they'll look red....

I didnt have alot of time to look at them so maybe it is paint. Ill check in the morning and let you guys know. Hope I didnt cause a false alarm.

I second Ssooch - nothing on the stripes has changed. I have the IOM stripes on my SIM car and they look red most of the time but look pearl orange in person or up really close.

I checked and the Stripes are factory vinyl.

I called the dealer on the car I have the deposit on and sent him a photo of the pearl orange stripes. He said the stripes on there car has no pearl in them. But without looking for my self cant say for sure.

My IO G.M. stripes look red unless there in bright sunlight- Then they look bright orange metallac.
