lol and it's probably going to stay that way. You and Aby are forum fiends and WAY more popular than me (and rightly so lol) so I have to work to try and find threads with something interesting I can comment on. The way Aby's going she's going to catch and pass me in about a week I think hehehe.

Man I had NO IDEA what I was creating when I suggested she get a CAI and catback exhaust. LOL

You've created a monster.

I never would have imagined this car would have such an effect on me

Next thing you know they're going to start naming tornado wind speeds after you.. "Today we saw Abygale force winds in excess of 100 mph as they blew through town like a supercharged Camaro being driven by a formerly modest and conservative woman who's gotten bit by the power bug so bad, she carries a bottle of Nitrous in her purse now instead of pepper spray."

If that was me, by myself, I think I would have been "creeped out"...AND a little bit scared...
We ladies have to be very careful....it's fun to be a ROCK STAR, but at a safe distance...
Loving the good stories though ~ keep them coming!

I could not agree more. As a cop for 14yrs I find the "evil" in everything, but I will never let anybody follow me home, and I am armed at all times. I'm sure you have seen the stories of Carjackings with these cars, theft, you name it. I am sure they had nothing but good intentions, but you can never be too careful. If you notice someone following you, just keep driving right past your house. I'm sure there are other cops on this site that will agree with me on this. Not trying to make you paranoid, just looking out for ya!!

Stories like this never get old, and I love hearing about them. The car continues to draw attention, and will for years to come, as new models come out (i.e. convertable & Z28).

I just watched the Motorweek episode again (had it taped) and they can't say enough about this car in performance, and especially design. It's the design that catches people's attention first, and it's obvious in reactions that occur on the road, like in Donna's story. I'm sure we've all had a similar situation happen.

I could help myself but when I read that she left them in the dust .
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaaaa!

( to the design team)

[COLOR="Navy"]So Right! Yesterday my hubby waited in the car while I ran into the pharmacy. 3 Minutes tops I was in there and when I came out - A guy with his kids, standing next to the car, talking to my husband. I could tell that my husband was not comfortable.

When I walked up, the guy started complimenting me on the car and seemed Hyped (unnaturally). The guy looked like he was high or something and had been most of his life. Next thing I know, the guy walks around and grabbs a camera out of his car and asks if his daughter could "Lean" on my car a little. I said no, and don't touch it either. Go ahead & take your pic with your daughter standing in front of the car, but we have to go. Both of us were totally creeped-out.

Aside from that, all experiences have been great! Seems 2010 Camaro Owners are an "Elite Club". Seems that all 2010 Camaros that pass each other either, wave, honk or pull over & chit-chat. I get this from Corvette and Challenger owners too. So much fun!

Ditto for me Donna,
The excitement hasn't died down yet, never knew the Camaro was so popular in the 70's.
lots of people stop me and say they had one yrs ago.
Guy in a box truck stops and yells out the window "don't let that one get away from you".
