So with the new Vararam-DRX intake, you picked up 12 HP over the Roto Fab? You used the exact same dyno correct?

If so, that's not too shabby.

Yes the same dyno and over Roto-Fab. The new Vararam leaned the car out from idle to Wot.Had to add more fuel

This is the best statement that I have heard... It is hard for any bolt on to make more power without more fuel.

I think this speaks more volume than a dyno number. You were able to get more air in creating a lean condition... To fix that, we add fuel. More air, more fuel equals more power.

Nice.

07-srt did you have a fan blowing at your car? If so what speed was it simulating? Also what did it do with the torque?

Would you share your custom ram air setup? I'm thinking about building one too under the bumper.

Yes there was a fan not sure of the speed...Peak tq dropped 6 but picked up tq under the curve...Both hp and tq had a better area under the curve especially at higher rpms tq and hp didnt drop off as fast.

I really wanted the otr. Need to figure out a cai by spring. This one is ugly so you know it's function over form. Which is a good thing.

So from what I see the big wing is actually the water bottle? I have the roto fab relocate bottle when I did my CAI and ADM scoop. Does the wing have to be used on this or no? Reason Im asking is one ive already spent the money and relocated it and two I should be hitting the dyno in a month and thinking if my tuner "fasterproms" would help do back to backs for no charge for the community id provide both intakes and change it out on the dyno.

It comes with a water bottle in the kit. I don't know if your relocated one would be in the way or not. Maybe call up who ever your going to buy it off of and ask.

The wing wall (washer bottle) is used to help support the air box, also it has you remove the radiator block off plates to help wih airflow. JMO, but i would think not installing it would hurt performance and intake temps would rise quicker, be hotter at idle and low speeds
