Count me in for a dragon run. Possibly the Cherahola Skyway too. This is a great road, did it on the Harley's 2 years ago.

I'm pretty sure the State Police can not patrol there. The road is located on National Forest Land which makes it under the jurisdiction of the Federal Gov't...like Yellowstone for instance. A friend ran it in his Mustang with his father in law in a pickup some minutes behind him 2 years ago. The father in law got a ticket from a Federal Agency (forget which one) which he paid, same as we did in Yellowstone. The officer told him the same thing they told me...The ticket never makes it to your insurance company, or your state. Ours even had a credit card reader in his truck. We were passing a bunch of folks from a state I won't mention as they were stopping at every, yes every, buffalo or whatever they saw. Thing is they didn't pull off the road, they just stopped...we were like car number 40 behind them! Got clocked at 75 in a 45 zone. Ticket was $125 or so I believe.

At any rate I drove with spirit on the DT twice last summer. Traffic at that time was the least early mid afternoon, apparently because of the heat. The Z/28 had no problem with the heat naturally. It is a fun workout to be sure. Heck the 2 wheel rockets were literally tearing it up a lot worse than I was. There was a new Shelby running at the same time, but he didn't push the car much at all. Good folks though!
You can't miss driving the DTail sometime, hopefully in something that can corner fairly good.
