In the short time I've come in to the fold I've made a trek to GA and Blown the Year Out, gone down the 1/4 mile twice, bounced to Destin for lunch with "TUSK" and "Screamin' MIMI" and took a sunset criuse home, and made the loop around Pleasure Island, AL just because I could!

Planning a trip to Orlando for Rick's 19th Annual Show in February, Fayetteville, NC in March for the Wounded Warriors gathering, C5 Fest II in AZ in April and gonna be a "Long Hauler" on the Hot Rod Power Tour in June.

Be they LS's, LT's, RS's or SS's...The Southeastern C5 GROUP ROCKS!!!

so, to answer your question...yes, I have a 2SS/RS and am 18 minutes from the Blue Angel Parkway Gate of NAS Pensacola. When do we ride???

Had the muffler delete done at George's Muffler & Undercarriage at 505 W Detroit Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32534. Took him about 30 minutes to do it and cost me 60 bucks. Cleaned up the rear view of the car with out the garbage cans being visible under there and at idle its only slightly louder than with them. sounds much better with your foot in it though

I live in Cantonment (right down the street from NAZZ) but I work on NAS Pensacola. I'm always up for anything! Let me know when/where you guys wanna meet up. I've been trying to get all the local 5th Gen Camaros to meet at BK on 9-Mile, but with the holidays and all it's been sketchy.

I had my muffler delete done (thanks to advice of NAZZ) at Top Gun Custom Exhaust on Beverly Parkway (George's was closed that day). Only cost me $50.00 and yes, now it DOES sound like a V8 Camaro should! I also ordered my K&N Panel Filter from them (I'd much rather give my money to small local businesses, and it was only $54.00). Man, what a NOTICEABLE throttle response difference that made to the car! If you haven't done the #5 and #20 "fuse pull" mod yet (search it on these forums) that will be an unbelievable difference as well. (Did mine last weekend).

Tons of people always meet at the Burger King on 9-Mile Road in Northern Pensacola starting at about 6 (older guys), but I usually show around 7:00 or 7:30.

I'm a 1/2 hour East of you at Eglin AFB. There are 3 IOM 2SS/RS camaros in our club over here. They just did a cruise to South GA Motorsports park this past weekend...also tp the same dragstrip 3 weeks ago. Anyway, we meet about once a month for a cruise or meet and greet and usually have a pretty good turn out. I also read that there's a BK in P-Cola that hot rods rally at every Saturday...I havent made it there yet but plan on it soon.

yeah, it's the burger king on 9 mile rd & i showed up too late this week & found out that they start getting there around 5 and usually leave by about 8 or whenever it starts to go dead. the next 2 weeks are off for Christmas & new year's

Sometimes when BK starts to die down, some people head down to the parking lot of the old Bay Front Auditorium. Mostly imports, but some Muscle there too.

I have am going to talk to Scrmin' Mimi , about all of us getting together on our last Destin meet we had 30 5gens show up .. its been since oct. it is time to hang again.
