also why do you have a US fuel gauge on the first picture and then a canadian fuel gauge on the other pics?
The first picture was just a random Camaro dash I think...

you said you used metallic black and then a satin on the inside of the rings, which paint exactly? What brand? It looks really good by the way it is a big difference.

I sanded them with 600 sandpaper to take the shine off and sprayed it with some Rustoleum metallic black. Then I sprayed the satin black Krylon from the backside so it would only hit the inside of the rings where I didn't want it so shiny. Make sure and take the rubber part off first so you don't paint it. (use needle nose pliers to pinch the attachments to remove it).

Outstanding Camero - never would've thought of it - the black looks so much better.

Looks very nice....I may have to do this too!

Did you use an adhesion promoter before the paint?

Only SS IOM interiors in the U.S. have the orange dash lights. All V6s and all Canadian cars have blue. Bummer eh?

Thanks everyone, I can't wait to see pix of other cars without those huge obnoxious silver plastic rings!

Is that 3M rubberized undercoating? Were you worried they would rust?
