Just commenting about silly it seems that people get mad that other people are trading in their cars (and posting the reasons why they did so here).

Meh, we've all bought something we thought suited us when it didn't at one time or another, so if people want to tell their story I say it's fine. Besides, no one's forcing anyone to read them...

I have no problem w/ people voicing actual complaints or a negative opinion. What does raise a brow w/ me is those people who continually post here but have nothing but negative to say about the car. Go get a car you DO like while the '10 Camaro is still hot and you can get almost all your money back.

That is essentially my point...

I am all for expressing displeasure and your absolute right for your opinion, but if as I said in my OP, you purchased it and now have buyers remorse was a frivolous purchase or uninformed purchase, oh well. Why pollute the boards?

Please read on...

Yes, you have an opinion, but if your opinion was based on what I posted prior, why do we need to hear your displeasure based on lack of info, remorse or an impulse purchase? These posts are easily identifiable and show the continued lack of properly educating ones-self on a high ticket item.

Then we all argue and fight and disagree over every one of these posts. Although comical, it serves no purpose save, ones First Amendment rights.

Like getting married and not liking your spouse after 4 months. Obviously you knew, why did you?

I test drove mine after I handed them the check and signed the papers. The dealer said, "you should really test drive it first", and I said OK. So I got in, drove it around the lot and goodbye!!!

I love it, simply said!

Only thing I have to say is, would you stop being friends with someone just because they don't agree with you or don't like the same things as you, or because they tell you something you may not want to hear? I would hope not. I don't think that most people post about not liking the car just to make people mad, but they just want to inform people of both sides. I think its good to hear both sides of the story no matter what your talking about.

There's been a lot of whining about "he doesn't like my car", "Stop posting negative things about the Transformers" and the like. I love my car and I do not care if others like it or not. Don't like the Camaro and are trading it in for a Hyundai? I don't care. Think a Kia Sorento is better on gas and performance? I don't care. You own a freaking Camaro! Now go drive it and enjoy life...

My Personal REALITY (Scary it seems)

1 - Camaro5 Rocks for willingly and happily providing "important" information with the intent of helping YOU make a more informed purchase.

2 - Camaro5 Rocks for providing a place for those of us waiting with great anticipation and giving us the opportunity to share our excitement with those already enjoying their new ride.

3 - "WE" are all responsible for our own actions. If I don't do my homework and am unhappy with my purchase, it's "MY" fault. Kinda like voting.

4 - Nothing made by man is perfect, "ever". Heck cars are nothing, we all know doctors aren't even perfect and they are much more important.

5 - I still can't wait to get my Camaro even with its possible imperfections.

Side Note: At the OC Auto Show last weekend I checked out the Honda Accord since that is what I am leaving for my new Camaro. My surprise was the v6 coupe stickered at $31k+. That immediately made me believe my Camaro was a great deal even more.

Again ... all IMHO ...

if you dont love it you do not deserve to drive it. It is a passion!!!!!!!! Someone with more passion deserves the car anyway.....My 6 year old is already talking about HIS camaro he will get when he is old enough. Thats passion!

What I don't get is why people feel the need or what requirement or void is filled by posting negativity towards the Camaro, or any car that is a first year release. The Camaro was announced 3 years ago on a new platform. This site (and others) were here to give everyone enough information about the Camaro that was humanly possible. The car is a new platform and with any new platform there will be issues. I myself have no issues with the car and I have a thorough background in domestic performance vehicles, racing and track time. The SS was meant for a broad category of a base enthusiast... For the price, you can't go wrong. Hell, my 02 WS6 sticker was $33k..My 2SS with $3200 in options? $37k. Over 8 years the sticker went up 4k for a better engine, better trans, newly developed exterior, nicer interior, more options, better tires,...the list goes on.

If you were like a lot of us R6P guys and purchased blindly, you made a choice. If you purchased after the car hit the lots and could actually test drive it, you still made a choice.

People are getting rubbed the wrong way with their purchase and it all boils down to one of three things or a combination thereof.....buyers remorse, frivolous purchase or uninformed purchase.

Just tweaks me to troll those threads. I will ignore them from here on out.
