Idk, i think the 4-pack should be an SS option, not a "2" option, like the gauge cluster should come with the V8 aspect, not with the luxury aspect

Hey Vega, you don't think that the V6 owners use the gauges? No offense intended, but the V6 is way more complex and deserving of the gauges than the V8 IMO. Do you know that when you start the V6 car, for about 4 minutes, the oil pressure is greater than 70psi, while under load or at idle. As for romping on the car's, both the V6 and V8 would benefit from the use of the gauges. I personally hope that all owners will get the chance of retro fitting the gauges in because they are very beneficial.

I just discovered last night that mine are not working when I noticed that the cluster didn't light up when I was out after dark. This will be my second trip to the dealer with the car; first due to a leaky shock. I agree with SRVFAN that they really just take up space that could be used for storage.

I think the guages look cool... thats about it. I never read them and they take up valuable cubby space that the 2ss doesnt really have enough of. Not that i junk up the inside of my car but I like a place to toss the cell phone, wallet, glasses case, etc... the cupholders work ok since i dont eat/drink really in the car but they fill up fast. The map pockets are too small and the console has my iPod in it.

I do like the guages b/c they look cool but thats it.

It makes sense to someone who doesn't want leather, but would desires the other features of the 2SS package.
u can install them after, but u need to go to a GM Goodrich shop to have them activated.

tl;dr

Gauge cluster is only on 2LT and 2SS. Has nothing to do with RS Package. RS package is wheels, RS Badging, wheels, spoiler and some other crap

Rediculous. not bad enough they put the gauges on the console, you have to pay extra to boot. So i can buy a used 15 year old truck with those gauges, or a 4th gen or a3rd gen Camaro, but if i want them in a new Camaro i have to pay extra.
Thanks GM!

It comes standard on the 2LT V6 and 2SS V8. I really dont see what your problem is. On the other models aside from the 2 listed above, your going to pay more on stuff, thats just how it works. Maybe you should file a complaint with GM?
