It actually just got test fit but it was on a non-spoiler car (didn't get bolted on) and my guy didn't have anyone to hold it so he could snap a pic :(

I should get it back within a week and it will go right on a CGM 2SS...

Yeah, my guy drove around from dealer to dealer trying to find one WITHOUT a spoiler, no luck.

He was headed home, saw one at a Pep Boys, decided to stop. Sure enough, V6, no spoiler.

He waited outside for the guy for 45 minutes! The guy was cool, let him stick it on BUT due to the angle you have to hold it or it slides off. The owner of the car had Parkinson's apparently so McNord, (Brian) was afraid to ask him to hold it while he snapped a quick pic

Does it extent past the deck lid over the quarter panels?

I'll take a better look when it is on the car but it just seemed like it would look really odd going over the quarters.

There is a drastic curve to the trunk and I just don't know that it would look right making the spoiler break to follow the quarters.

I could be picturing it totally wrong though...

Anyways, I'll have pictures of our splitter next week as well. We will probably do a full CF 6LE Package on the CGM car (front splitter, side splitters, rear valance and spoiler).

Not sure how much interest there will be in it but we'll see...

I for one as well like the look of the 69 spoiler and how it goes over the trunk right to the side of the car. MAY llok funny on a 5th Gen, but I would LOVE to See it. Make the same spoiler mold twice, once short and then once the correct way.

FYI, we'll also offer them pre-painted if you like. We have a shop that does our valances and have had nothing but praise about their work...

I just can't bring myself to it... Here's the spoiler we built it off of:

Picturing that extended, just hanging over the trunk kills me for some reason. I guess it just takes me back to when I had that LG Motorsports/Freedom Design spoiler on a fourth gen, just turned into a pet peeve I guess.

Actually, SLP's ZL car didn't hang it over the trunk either did they?

You're right, it didn't. But the aftermarket spoiler they are mass producing does.

It's hard to imagine the stock spoiler extended onto the quarter panel, sure, but you're making a first-gen style spoiler. First gen cars have it over the quarter panels so who knows? It might look good. All that really matters is that the corners still slope somehow, which yours does, although in a much more angular way than not only stock but also how most other companies are producing ducktails. So far, yours is probably the most authentic-to-form DUCKTAIL spoiler like the first gens.

I'd still like to see it fitted the way it is now, though. I'm sure plenty of people will like it... I'm already thinking I'm going to want it even if it doesn't extend onto the quarter panels.

Well, I can tell you right now that I won't be interested in any ground effects or splitters as I personally don't like how they make the car look, it's a personal taste. Do you have any hoods in the works?
