You should be able to pick up a new car for around $55k or a used one for $45-50k depending on miles. They might not be in the city where you live but you could ship a car enclosed cross country for under $2k I would think. Plenty of deals better than this one there.

I will sell you mine for $48k. its perfect in every way. no stories. no Carfax issues. fully dealer serviced only. if you plan to track it I have some extra goodies to sweeten the deal that will certainly offset the freight fees cross country. I am not selling because of issues or fallen out of love. I am selling because I bought land and need to build a house this year. I am selling this car and a few others. I will get another one some day after I settle in to a new house and get all the money back in line. PM if interested.

I was looking, and either in Ohio or Florida saw a used z that had the engine replaced on the carfax. I cant remember which state the car was in now, but that was a shock. It had very little miles on it

This car is 30 minutes from me, I looked at this car last year. I think the dealer owner drove it a while. It's been outside for a while.

That would be awesome!!! I'm actually in touch with the dealer and asked that he give me the honest condition of the car. He says they took it into the shop on Friday to fix a scratch. Please PM me when you can. Very much appreciated!!!!!

Just wanted to say that I'm kind of blown away by how helpful folks are on this forum, so thank you!!!! Clearly you are all passionate about the Z/28. Just a few more tidbits to put out. I'm cool with any color, except black. Love the way it looks, but just too hard to keep clean. I will never own a black car. I also need A/C living in the valley here in CA. Thanks again everyone....the quest continues. I'm going back tomorrow to deep dive into any issues with the car. They are going to put it on a stand and we are going to go over every inch to make sure there are absolutely zero issues. They've dropped the price $6k already so they are willing to bargain.....

Run away. Low mileage used CPOs with Radio and AC are worth $47k tops and there are dozens available. Wrecked are not worth 2s of your time as too many in perfect condition are on the market. When they call you back, laugh and offer them $37k. Untitled are not worth your time or cash unless you are looking for an investment on blocks after draining the fluids, even so, every financial advisor will instruct you to go buy land instead. Even if you can find that white elephant with less than 50 miles on the odometer, $55k out the door is your ceiling. There are fools out there that will pay these astronomical prices, don't be one of them.

Appreciate the advice. They are super nice guys and the car seems legit, he's willing to put it up on blocks and go over everything, but I told him I was spooked. Currently I have inquiries into about 8 different dealers about their cars. One thing I may have gotten ahead of my skis with is getting this without selling my ZR1. It's now up for sale on the Corvette forum and I just put it up on Autotrader. I gotta get rid of that thing, which I think will sell fast, before getting the Z/28.

I had a black car and said never again and then along came a black Z/28 at the right price and it just looked so damn good in person. I totally fell in love and forgot all about what a PITA black is. Lol.

I see a few dealers sticking to $65k+ for their new ones......I just ignore those.....but hey, it's their prerogative to do that.....
