it comes with 19x11.5, thus making 18's smaller wheels not bigger wheels.

18" wheels have been fitted over the OEM brakes. I've made numerous calls and emails to distributors/engineers of Forgeline wheels, the GS1R and GA3R will work but only in a select range of available offsets/widths.

Personally, I was seeking an 18"x11" +4 for the front, and an 18"x11.5" +19 for the rear. First they said those offsets would work with a GA3R but then no. Not sure why, since my requested offsets push the spokes and narrow part of the barrel out further than some other 18" fitments I have seen with the OEM brakes, but had to take their word for it. Very frustrating.

I think wider wheels (and tires) look really good on the 14/15' Z/28. Pics would be cool.

If you can get 18s on it will be extremely close to the caliper. Don't forget to take into account all the tire clag debris that gets built up inside the wheel. My wheels are full of huge chunks of rubber after each track day. There is a exposed brake bypass line on the bottom of the caliper aswell, this will be a prime target.

Very true. When I am on my 18s, I often get small rocks caught between the wheel and caliper and they scratch the crap out of the rim until the rock wears down or I pull it out. Fortunately they are my race wheels and I didn't buy the car for show so it doesn't upset me much.

Alright, great answers here. If anyone finds any more info I'd love to hear it. Worst case scenario I would throw a small spacer for clearance.

I dont think its so much the clearance between the spokes of the wheel than it is the caliper and the barrel of the wheel. Using a spacer does not solve the clearance issue.
