I would and have considered a chiller but the price point is a touch high and I have a few concerns on the load, constant use of ac leaks and gains losses etc.

I have a chiller and I am very happy with it. I totally understand the price point argument against it, but I have no leaks or issues. I don't run the AC all the time as its not necessary when cruising around town under vacuum, only at the track and when I am using it to cool the cabin on hot days. The stock HX works fine for that. My cabin AC did suffer a tad bit, but its still very comfortable on a 90 degree day.

I wouldn't recommend it for you yet until you start pushing more boost, but I think its worth serious consideration when you are ready.

How much more boost? I am using a 9.55 lower now and moving up to a 10" lower which is most likely the most I will go.

You can get a HX with dual fans for 1000.00 or an Interchiller kit put together in the USA for 1300.00. The stock HX is not enough to retain the HP you already have in southern states in summer months and southern states year round! Leaks are not an issue with a properly fitted American kit from Active Interchillers!

I did the exact same swap (from the 9.55 to the 10") when I went E85. I didn't realize you were running that much pulley. If you 1/4 mile the car, I would definitely recommend it if you want to maximize your 1/4 mile times. I'm pushing about 14.5 lbs of boost with the 10"

But like I said before, it just depends on how you use the car. If its just a street cruiser, the stock HX can keep up with the car moving when not under WOT for extended periods of time.

If anything I would recommend a reservoir if you don't already have one, I noticed quite a bit of improvement from the increased coolant capacity and it makes it much easier to make sure all the air is out of the system.

Just did mine last Wed and I would highly reccomend. Iat2's are now just 10* above ambient. Ron Davis from JDP Motorsports. Bolted right up. Would like to suggest a Rotofab reservoir to help burp the system tho. Used Dexcool 50/50.
