Thanks for all the replies/advice guys. I'm still worried I won't get my car but at least now I don't think it's completely impossible.

You'll get it, just have to get your financing nailed down.

Don't know if anyone's mentioned, but make sure and find out how long your loan approval is valid (the 'lock period') before you apply. You don't want to go through all the trouble of shopping around for a lender, only to have to re-apply once the car arrives.

Just trying to save you an inquiry or two on the ol' credit report

I have one in particular in mind that is on the lot in my hometown. I'm out of state for the next 2 or 3 weeks so I hope to get pre-qualified and pick it up when I get home.

I just checked my credit score from all 3 credit agencies and it seems it's a bit higher that it was last time I checked (about a month ago). 626, 627, 642.

Still crap but better than I thought
