Thanks for the info. I wish I had had the time to flush the brake fluid before this. The weather has been cooperating lately. That's the track we are running. My car has a 6 piston Wilwood setup up front, so we'll have to see how it holds up. My car also has a cam and tune so it will be interesting to see if I will be able to run 4th all the way around like you did.

I'd highly recommend this stuff guys. That factory Dot3 boils a lot quicker than you think it would on the track. Get 2 of these (about $15 each), you'll use 1 and a half by the time you're done bleeding all 4 corners.

The motul 600 is what my instructor recommended. I figured I would give it a try.
Thanks for the input. Too-many-cars, let us know how your track day goes. I'm going to a NASA event on the 17th.

650 has a higher boiling point. Your instructor likely drives a lighter car, where 600 might work just fine. Trust me, get the highest temp brake fluid you can find. Not many track cars weight 3900 pounds.

Well, if you're that worried, bypass the Motul altogether and get the Castrol SRF. Note though, if you're going SRF, you must change it out often as it absorbs almost no moisture

I ran the entire track in 4th gear like someone suggested. In the dry there are definitely a few places I would have used 3rd. I left full nannies on, there was no way I was taking a chance going into the grass with a 4000lb car. I was in the novice group and there were a few guys who couldn't keep it on the track. Multiple wrecks and people getting towed off. The 3rd session lasted 3 laps before some guy in a Subie put it in the tire wall. And he had been off multiple times before. The guys running the session should have just pulled him out permanently.

Glad you both had fun and did not go off.
I boiled Motul 600 the last track day with my stock brakes at the end of the third session. This was on the short section (lots of braking) at Thunderhill out here in CA. I need to install brake ducts and do a full flush (which I hadn't done). I will be switching to Motul RBF660 for my next track day.

Just finished my second track day at NJMP on the Thunder track. NASA ran the event. Not as much track time as with Chin. Also the instructor didn't provide as much input. Still it was fun.
I didn't get a chance to change my brake fluid but didn't have any problems, shorter sessions. I have the parts to upgrade my brakes to ZO6 calipers and ZL1 rotors. I'll also separate the clutch master cylinder and change to 660 when I do this.
