The gas pump thing is true! I never plan on a quick fill at the gas station because someone ALWAYS walks up (or yells from clear across the lot) and wants to ask about my Bumblebee....................Love it.

Dude...know what you mean...I came out of Walmart to find four big burly guys checkig out my car, peering through the window and taking pics. A little concerned as I approached, I remotely unlocked the car, which caused them to simultaneously look up. They respectfully backed away and then began engaging in conversation for 20 minutes regarding the vehicle. Does this happen to everyone reading this thread?

I have had comments from across the board. My favorite is still this gem. While driving through my subdivision, there is a passle of little boys who every time I drive buy shout "hey mister, nice Chevy Camaro". Also had a woman in a van at a local grocery store drive by, stop, rolled down her window and said what a cool car. Also 4 golfers leaveing the course who stopped their truck and got out and were all over the thing. Asked to see the interior, engine. Happens almost daily, probably because there are basically none up here yet.

the Camaro has been out for months and it still gets ogled at the gas pumps and stores. It does not get old . I still love talking to people about my car I hope the attention never goes away,

A Mustang owner came up to me yesterday was asking me about it at the gas station (loved it). Glad he kept his distance though, idiot was smoking a cigarette AT THE GAS STATION.

BUT, my fave comment of all time: The day I picked the car up I took my "friend" to a carnival and they had a Silver SS on display. While we were in line to get on a ride some guy in front of me asked if I saw that new Camaro. I replied: "Oh, I have one" PRICELESS!!!!!

I don't have mine yet but was fortunate enough to have negotiated a killer deal w/Avis in Las Vegas. Had a Rally Yellow 2SS for 6 glorious days which included a long drive out to the Grand Canyon. Bonus point for posted speed limit of 75 mph! I even managed to run into another fellow Camaro5 member outside a Starbucks on the way out to GC.

No matter how remote the location I thought I was in, someone would come up and start looking the car over. Driving across the Hoover Dam heard multiple kids yelling to their parents, "there's Bumblebee!" and multiple others grabbing for their cameras/phone. And probably the most used word I've heard about this vehicle is "sexy" and I would whole-heartedly agree. I never thought I would just sit and stare and then go "damn that car is sexy".

It is making the wait for the vert so incredibly difficult . . .
