I had a screw in the shoulder/sidewall yesterday.
My dealer didn't have a tire in stock, and neither did Discount Tire. Both had to order. Luckily my dealer only orders their cars with the spare. Granted I have the V6 and my RS 20" fit in my trunk just fine till Monday hopefully. Also I got the extended warranty with rode hazard so saved me some on the new tire as well. Glad to have that spare now.

I believe the G8 GXP's have the same brake system as the SS and the GXP comes with 19" wheels so maybe you guys can use a 19" wheel/tire that would fit a GXP. A GXP spare can be found relatively easily but you can always go to tire rack and get an aftermarket one.
