You need the caliper clearance area measurement. Offset, backspacing, etc. don't mean much when trying to clear calipers.
RS/SS-You are correct. The offset can center the wheel/tire in the wheel well so it does not stick out beyond fender lip or rub inside against wheel liner. However, that is not enough info. As you point out the caliper is another hazard many do not think about. In my case, with factory calipers, the clearance is tight in the rear but not in the front in order to clear the caliper's. Not as easy as it might appear.

what year model zo6 18" wheel are you referring to ? i need 2 for the rear to mount drag radials on how wide is the zo6 wheel
