Getting 7.5 psi max boost right now. Gotta get a KB boost a pump because the stock fuel pump isn't holding enough pressure so we had to lower power output a bit to 530/500 for now
Sorry for the crappy quality, video taken from my G1

I like the Maggie myself - love the torque.

Our Street brawler package makes 455 RWTQ torque at 2200 RPM and has 6 psi boost at that RPM and carries the boost to red line with a peak boost of 7.5 and 560 RWHP, a Real Kick in the butt slam you in the seat power.

Centrifugal Superchargers Have a More Linear Gain, for instance at the same 2200 you might only have 1 PSI boost that will climb to 7.5 PSI at 6000 RPM.

Pulls harder and harder as RPM increases.

Boost is fun and the sooner you get it the more fun it is to drive.

A basic rule of thumb for me is PD for Street and Centrifugal for Racing, but I have to admit the both do very well in either.

So then it just becomes a personal choice.

So would a Maggie be a positive displacement??? Vortech is Centrifugal correct? Keep your foot out of the Vortech and would get better mpg than the maggie...right or wrong??

Very wrong. I get as good or better mpg than when I was cam only. The maggie is just along for the ride when your foot is out of it. I know a couple of guys that claim better mpg after a maggie install. I believe Magnacharger claims better mpg as well.

If you don't mind waiting on the rush of extra power, any blower will do. If you want it NOW, a TVS2300 would be my choice. Other positive displacement setups are "almost" ready too. However, the maggie is here now. It has an excellent track record. It does what it claims and you won't be under the hood tinkering with stuff constantly. It's not rocket science to install either. I'm going to do the install my self when I pull the trigger on the wife's Camaro. There's absolutely no reason to ship one half way across the country, for a maggie install, if you have a competent shop in your area.

The TVS 2300 can be set up mild or a little wild if you like. My TVS blown vette is a little on the wild side. It has a fairly aggressive blower cam, and all the bolt ons. With a 2.9" drive pulley on the TVS, I'm getting 672 rwhp and 641 rwtq. That's on only 8.5psi of boost. Almost perfect street manners and insane (at least to me anyway) power available at a very low rpm. I even see 2+ psi when I hit the "resume" button on the cruise control. A smooth acceleration from 2500 rpm in 3rd gear will light the tires up before I hit 3000 rpm. Not too many other available f/i setups are even awake at 3000 rpm. My TVS is well over 500 ft lbs as low as 2500 rpm. Unlike the previous generation maggies, it doesn't lay down on the top end either. It pulls and pulls hard all the way to the red line.

If you want the feel of a well built 500+ cubic inch big block under the hood that sips fuel like a small block, you need to look seriously at the TVS2300.

I like the build quality of the Ken Bell system myself. Waiting to see what they come out with at the end of the year.

Is there a chance you're considering a TVS vs TS blower test I think it would be so sweet to se something like this. I can imagine it's not as easy as the great intake test you just did, not a header test... I'd just like to see an unbiased test, unlike what I've read in the 'Stang rags through now.

Thanks for the info'. It's always nice to see real-world experience and results. Thanks a bunch for sharing

This may be as good as actually conducting a shoot-out then
