According to my NHRA track in St louis, 2010 is out of date. I liked my old helmet much better but I wanted to race and their techs told me I couldn't run with my old helmet. Who is right? Maybe mine wasn't one you listed. Beats me.

My helmet has been rarely worn. Its never been bumped or dropped. It just happens to be 8 years old. Its like new.

The foam padding ages sitting on the shelf. My light weight carbon fiber helmet is pristine and soon to be replaced because the sticker says so...

Everywhere I've found says SA2010 is good until 1/1/22. SA2005 expired this year and are no longer good.

I am just going to have to roll with the helmet I have. Hopefully I will still get to race. I am like Bo, my helmet has just been sitting in a closet for as long as I can remember.

I just bought a Bell Sport Mag (Open-face) helmet off of EBay for $65! It was SA2010, and I was thinking surely it would be compliant until at least 2020 when they revise the SA standards again! Sure hope I was right, since I thought I got a killer deal!!! Sounds like it varies from track-to-track.
