Why would it count on vacuum? Any pressure differential will cause a fluid to flow. An air breather element doesn't provide much resistance. But I like the idea about plugging the valve cover and using an oil cap breather instead. Where can I get the plug... or do I just make one?
What I CAN see as being a concern is not having the crank case in equilibrium with the intake, and encouraging blow-by during boost. I don't think there'd be a huge difference but it's something.

He has been talking to himself on this post for 5 days on ways he can outsmart them do you think he is worried about how it was supposed to work? He is also going to be supercharged ( i think electric). If anything, that fresh air source needs to come from his main filter (if he has one?) and not his charge tube or he will absolutely boost his crank case.

Lol, I'm not trying to outsmart anyone. GM puts this stuff on the car because they have to comply with federal regulation regarding emissions while venting a pressurized space in the engine. All I'm doing is venting a pressurized space WITHOUT complying with emissions. In terms of performance and component durability, the impact should be minimal.
Why does the crank case need a fresh air supply? Yes I will be boosted (electric) but the boost will be contained to the intake tract, no tubes feeding the crankcase. While I have no plans to do so, I don't necessarily see the harm in boosting the crankcase either. A 10:1 engine with 10 psi boost will develop 250 psi at TDC with only 15 in the crankcase. Boosting the crankcase would change that to 25 psi... not a big deal and may actually reduce blow-by. Also, this is just a transient, as most of the time the engine will be running N/A.

God what a mess the internet is... 50 thousand conflicting pieces of information for a single topic. I managed to find a breather that serves as the main oil fill cap. It retains the neck and just twists on, so that takes care of that. However the bigger issue that I still can't seem to get a straight answer on is what to do with that damn pipe coming out of the intake going back into the valve cover. I shone a light on my engine to see where it connects and there's some sort of scary coupling where that tube connects to what appears to be an aluminum hard line, welded into the valve cover. Assuming I can get the tube decoupled from that hard line, what am I supposed to plug the hole with? Can't seem to find the right syntax to put into google to find the part I need to plug that up. I just want to cap off that pipe with some little stopper or something and put the breather on the oil fill neck and be done with it. Help is appreciated.
Also is that line for foul ventilated air or fresh air into the crankcase?
