Ok. I'd like to get all four corners done in my accent paint color...or color closest to the paint color. It's called "wave blue metallic and is off the GM 08' paint chart, code: 482-P. I doubt there will be such a coat that is called that or is identical. But, after doing some searching, I've found a few that are pretty close. The blue color below is what I'm trying to match....added a few photos to try to give you an idea.
So, I'd be looking at $150 for all four and it would take about 2 to 3 days, given I drop them off completely disassembled? ...that is, if we can find a color that would go on in one coat? |

Here is how I usually handle custom colors: 1. A sample panel needs to be made to send in to my powder coat supplier. 2. Powder coating supplier mails sample swatches. Depending on how exact you want the color to match, you can be looking at anywhere from $30-$40, and up to $800 for an EXACT color match. The reason it's so expensive for an exact match is there is a minimum order of lbs to order plus a charge to make the powder from scratch. Usually my powder coat supplier will have colors in stock that are similar or close to what you are looking for. If they have a color in stock that is similar, I would simply charge you what the powder costs $30-$40. |

Only thing I can think of is removing them and installing them after powder coating. If we coat everything together, you won't be able to remove those weights afterward.

Total Travel Estimates: 50 minutes / 46.73 miles from my house to your shop.
Do you think you have any blues there close to what I've got shown? I think we might have to remove and replace the brake weights. ...maybe...on one hand, it would completely cover them and make them less noticable. On the other, ...well, they DID come with the car...and maybe should be coated. That would prevent them from ever falling off....hrm... |

The best thing would be to buy a small amount of paint from a paint shop and make a sample panel. You would be looking at probably $20 for the paint, if that. I can do all this for you as I have access to a paint shop here locally. I'm sure my powder supplier can get something close. |

Dayum.....it would look good either way. But, prolly blue on top.
Seriously, I'd love to see a Summit White SS w/ these wave blue rally's on it. That would just look KILLER. |
