The '17 ZL1 is going to be much faster at VIR full because of the long straights. I ran the 2:09.68 on my first dry session ever in the ZL1. On a shorter/tighter track, it would be much closer. I had old tires on the ZL1 that were not much (if any) stickier than the stock rubber. I think I can get the ZL1 to 2:05-2:06

I'm in Silver Spring, MD.

I usually run Summit Main, NCCAR and NJMP (Thunderbolt, have not done Lightning yet).

Also, I do refrigerator bowl at Summit and would like to do circuit cross at Dominion... Lastly, do a few Auto Xs (usually just the test and tunes) with Capital Driving Club to get my parking lot fun on.

I'm at NCCAR 10/28 and tempted to try to get VIR in the weekend of 11/11 but no sure yet.

Red 1LE from the video here, this run was a lot of fun, shoot me your email in a PM kramard, I've got a few pics of us running together from the photog that was out there.

Another Z/28 guy I met at WGI this past weekend with HOD sent me this way. For inquiring minds, no power mods, just camber plates up front and the Hoosiers, which are 295 up front and 315 in the rear. This was my first event running them and didn't really understand their grip potential until I got to WGI.

Will do, awesome driving. On our second session you blasted out of 1 - 2 by me - I totally had to give you the point!

I heard the other black Z/28 had an accident :( looked like he lost it coming out of 2.

I saw that video too and I saw him packing up after they took the car off track somewhere that day. I'm sure he was not a happy camper but at least he was not injured.

The 6th gen car is definitely very confidence inspiring, but not as raw as what I've seen in the Z/28s. I can see how that crash could have happened.

I'm done for the season, but can't wait to get out next year and hopefully run with you again!

I'll PM you the link to my quickest lap from that weekend.
