The shifter was about $359, I orderd it from Jegs. The install was expensive because I took it to a dealer, dropped my pants, bent over and asked how much. $96 an hour and they claimed it took them two hours to install. $209 with tax. The Black knob I have on it does not come with it. You have to order that separate. It's an extra $50, but well worth it. I love the classic white knob, but the black just blends better in my opinion. Plus the white knob that comes with it is plastic, the black knob is aluminum and has a good weight to it.

I have heard a slight rattle under hard acceleration in second and in third but it's nothing I'd hear if the radio was turned up a little. But, some have said that the rattle gets louder over time, so I'll report back. I'm going with the Utah Chapter of Camaro5 out to Miller Motorsports Park for a Food Drive Charity Event tomorrow and will most likely be putting on a couple hundred miles so more of an in depth review tomorrow night.

The rattle is most likely from the knob loosening up from the shifter. When I bought mine it came with a plastic knob that rattled and broke only one week old. You shouldn't have much trouble with that hefty knob.
