Foot, thanks for the tip on the plugs. To be honest, I haven't talked to GPI about them, but now that you mention it, I will. I hear ya on the injectors, too.

I have got a ZL1 pump and 62cc injectors with 2k miles on them that are being pulled out and replaced. I haven't asked for them back, but they have to be worth something...

MrIm, you're right and it goes back to the argument that if we build what we want from the beginning, we wouldn't waste as much time or money.

The problem is we don't really know what we want until we try what we've got. It's never enough, and we always want more. But, hey, that's why we do it.

Your right about that my friend. Hence why I went from ECS supercharger to AGP TT. Now I need a forged engine and E85 conversion.

Foot, I checked with the shop and confirmed we are moving to a BR7 plug. That should do it, right?

Yes sir! I was using a "7" heat range plug when at 13 psi so it sounds right to me

Thanks, BiggFoot! Looks like I'm in a similar situation....the hunt for more power as well. I just finished up the install of a different cam (227/243 @115) Fore twin pump, flex fuel sensor, 110lb injectors, and going to a 3.5" pulley. I dropped my car off at a shop to get all dialed in for the new cam, more boost, and E85.

With the 3.75" pulley I currently have, I was thinking maybe about 725RWHP on 93 pump gas, and maybe 775 on E85. With the additional boost from the smaller pulley they are switching it to, I'm thinking maybe 775 on 93, and 825 on E85 (purely guessitmates on my part). I'll just be happy with the fact that it sounds good, makes a little bit more power than it did, and driveability is perfect. I know there will be a power increase switching to the E85, but I didn't change from a tiny cam to a huge cam (211/230 @ 122.5 to a 227/243 @ 115), so I wasn't expecting some huge gain from the cam swap, just a good sound with a bump in power increase.

The place that is tuning my car, they have a Camaro as their "shop car". It has a 416 with the 2.3L blower as well. I dont' know the full specs, but it is definitely overdriven, and it is "only" making 920RWHP.....

Batmann, cheers to you for swinging for the fences and joining the 800 club!!

Hou30, diggin' the Maggie on the vert, bro. Are you in the middle of an upgrade? Who's doing the work for you?

Bay408, I have always been a fan of the roar of the motor over the scream of an exhaust. My favorite part of a boosted drop top is hearing her suck air on WOT. Pure poetry.
