Hey Killer,

If we want to meet up with the Ohio group in Cincinnati we could work backwards from there. Ohio Group

There is a Cracker Barrel in Monroe just off I75 which could be the most southern point in Michigan.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Str
1101 Ternes Drive
Monroe, MI 48162-5002

If this is the last Michigan stop we would need to leave about 11am on Thursday which would give us an hour layover before leaving Cinci. I don't know if the times will work for everyone but just a thought.

O5G, I am planning on caravaning down with my wife, hopefully leaving on Wednesday. I live in Plainfield and I am interested in meeting up with others. Any interest on your part and do you know anyone else from this area that is going?

I do know there are several from Ill. going, based on the C5F post by state. I'm not sure how close they are to you, but you could PM them and get in with a "pack".

That would be awesome. As we progress south, our group will be getting bigger and bigger. By Atlanta, we will have in the realm of 30 cars! I hope you and your group can hook up with us in Cinci. I will scout out the area for a good meeting point.

I was thinking the rest stop on 75 southbound just south of Cincinnati would be good. It is actually in Walton Kentucky around mile marker 177 on I-75. It is in the section where 71 and 75 run together.

Here is the route from when you cross the river on 75 into KY. The rest area is about 15 miles south of the Ohio/Kentucky border.

It is the very large rest area on the left (southbound). We plan to meet there and be on the road as close to 4:00pm as possible. It is showing 3 hours 40 minutes to the outerbelt (640) around Knoxville. I would like to find a room on that side of the city. Then Friday morning we can hop right back on 75 and keep heading south.

From the MI/OH line to the rest area is showing 3 hours 30 minutes straight down 75. You may want to leave yourself some extra time to get through Dayton and Cinci.

I will keep looking into it... I hope you MI folks can meet up with us!

Heck, leave thursday morning and meet up with us in Walton, KY off 75. Its about 7 hours from Plainfield to Walton. Then you can come with us the rest of the way. We are overnighting Thursday night in Knoxville.

Tried to pm you but didn't go through. Will definitely hook up with your group in Indiana and caravan over. I'll make my reservations for KY now and already have one at the sponsor hotel.

FYI... the block of rooms will only be held until March 15. I can see about keeping it longer but so far everyone I have on my list has a room. Everyone on this list is accounted for. Isnt Dave O flying with his dad? I dont have any room information for him.
