You're paying more, but that doesn't mean you deserve it to look significantly different. What you fail to comprehend here is the heritage this car has. You wanna know the difference between an SS and a V6 back in '69? A raised hood and emblems. You're pretty lucky you get the revised fascia. Not too much to be going on here.
And before you even start again, I understand that you wanted it to be more different. Don't like the fact that car is nearly identical to a V6, sans the fascia and a spoiler (assuming said V6 doesn't have the RS package)? Shouldn't have bought it. But you did, and you worked hard or it, so enjoy it for what it is instead of trying to make it something it's not.

No, what I described in that paragraph was anything but hot. Hot is implying you like the car simply because of its popularity factor. That is hot my friend, not what I described. Hot and excited are two entirely different things.

Yeah, and I'm sure so many people don't like the attention that the Camaro is getting over their car. It's called a bias. Sure, some people don't like the amount of Mustangs on the road, and eventually people are going to disdain the amount of Camaros on the road. It's what happens when a car manages to sell several hundred thousand units.

As for looks, the LT/RS doesn't look much different from the SS/RS. Only the mail slot and the lower grill is different.

You bought the 1LT because it's different from the LS. You bought the 2LT because it's different from the 1LT. You bought the 2LT/RS because it's different from the 2LT. What are you saying that everyone except the guy who bought the LS is shallow? Up until this point, the differences are mostly cosmetic!! You were making the discussion that you bought the RS package because it made your car more "different" (I'm using special from this point on; it holds the same connotation), which obviously implies that you do, in fact, believe that your car is better than non-RS car. You were making the argument that the 2SS/RS you worked so hard for was so much better than an LS or LT, and you're complaining that the RS package is so similar between the LT's and SS's which in turn makes your car less special.
