I ordered my SS/RS in Oct. I sure hope that this is the true color, then I will have the stripes painted on the same way as this pic. This thread shows about 20 different shades and I know that lighting changes the look alot but some of these just looked flat and washed out. Oh well. I'm in it now so just a few more months before they build the SS's and I'll see for sure.

The Bumblebee car is a totally different color than the production yellow. Production yellow is super bright. It's very similar to Millennium Yellow that was on the Vettes. Bumblebee is more of a gold yellow and it has metallic. Rally yellow does not have any metallic.

Bumblebee does not have any metallic either. It has a Pearl coating called Sunrise by Valspar..

Pearl and metallic are both flake and look similar up close. I never saw any color shift in Bumblebee when I saw it on several occasions both indoors and out.
