Just installed this system based on the suggestion.
What a pain in the ass.... I guess I'm not as nimble as I used to be. It's tight under the dash, But everything fit like it was supposed to.
Radio didn't seem too much improved, but I put a CD on and WOW
Night and day difference!!! I may start up my Sirius subscription again.

Good Job ! For better high fidelity, get one of those blue tooth pucks in my DIY and plug it into the "aux in" in the console. Then, run Itunes, Sirius, or whatever service you have directly on your iphone and it will automatically play through the head unit. All you need is cell phone reception. I think it is way better with blue tooth than plugging your headphones into "aux in", you get more bass this way. I run Sirius through my iphone all the time.

Also, seriously consider doing the kappa front speaker install. Those speakers really thump with the added power and they sound tight and super clean. The stock front speakers are a little "flabby" with the new power. Enjoy !

What speaker brackets did you use for the front speakers?

carspeakeradapters.com, SAK075 is the right part number. They are made out of PVC, so, they are super light and strong.
