You deserve to lose your license. Plain and simple.

if you are quoting me do it in context. I was responding to the OP's post. I am as far from being a cop as you can get. I speed in my SS and that was my point. I go to the strip too. On our interstates around here you will get run over at 55.

Driving is a privilege, not a right.

There are a lot of stupid people doing stupid things and then making stupid posts on this forum, it's really gone to hell, which is why I rarely post anymore.

Never, EVER go dangerously fast on a road no matter the conditions. Sh17 happens, and people that aren't at fault die. Stop being ignorant.

And to everyone that gives their Camaros, Corvettes, Ferraris, whatever, the repsect they deserve and go to the track to get their race on instead of the road, keep up the good work.

I'm not a MORTAL...nor do I have my camaro YET..

Going too slow is just as dangerous because then you piss people off going 25 in a 40 zone. People have lives and places to be. If youre going that slow it will most likely cause a chain reaction...instead of one person speeding you now have 6 people speeding because they are pissed off. I see this happen all the time. I have to speed sometimes...I normally go 5 over on normal streets and 10-18 over on the highways because you will get killed going too slow and I 20 over here means they take you in.

This is staggering -

I go the whole summer with one of the fastest cars on the road (speaking of my Camaro), being careful not to attract cops for speeding. And I am successful, only to get a speeding ticket this past weekend in my "little old ladies car", the Buick Centry! My camaro has been put up for the winter for three weeks now.

I have been driving for over 35 years and have gotten two speeding tickets during that time. However, both were when I was on my way to a church related function! I've got to quit church at this rate!

No, but it falls under a ticket type of display of performance, if I remember correctly. You can even get a ticket for chirping the tires if an officer wants to write it.

Yea thats the worst. We have some old people down below where our house is, and I drive down the hill at like 15 mph max, but because the car makes noise they always motion to slow down.

it reminds me that I have gotten 2 speeding tickets in 40 years of driving,, one in 1975 for doing 30 in a 15 in a 1974 2.3 L 4 Cyl automatic Vega Estate Wagon, and the other was in 1977 for doing 66 in a 55 on the interstate in a 1976 Malibu with a 305 V8.... since then I always try to keep within 5 MPH of the speedlimit..... I said "Try"

When is speeding, speeding? Because where I live if you don't go at least 20mph over on the highway you will get booted. The cops don't even give you a look on a 65mph zone until your over 85mph.
