Food for thought- there are calculators available that mathematically help you decide where you want to be. Consider;
1. First gear ratio
2. Fuel economy ( if it matters )
3. High stall converter
4. Tire size used
5. Power output of the engine
You should be able to make an informed decision. I would only add a posi unit such as true trac.
