Today, on the way home. Getting on the turnpike I used the paddles and was in 4th at about 70 mph when I tapped into 5th. Three revs then the shift. Later, when leaving a light, I again went 4th to 5th and it did the 3 revs. This time I was about 50 to 55 mph.

How are your tires? Could it be traction control limiting spin? Mine was doing similar behavior (M6 though) before new rubber.

This is really odd. My car tuned or not tuned never did this. It only gave a blip of throttle on the downshifts.

Rubber is all new. No tire spin when this happens.
