No SS emblem on a V6... I put SS emblems on my HHR (Before Chevy decided to make an SS HHR, and I have heard alot of things said, I usually just say It's not a real ss, I just like the way the look... but still it's an HHR and not a Camaro, I think there is a big difference...

I am leaning to have either a 3.6L/304 HP emblem made or a LT/304HP emblem made.. But until I decide, I am just adding the stainless gill trim and a OEM style rear spoiler.

When people ask me what engine I have I just say "a 304 horse v6" and they leave it at that. Personally I wouldn't badge a non ss car with ss badging. Buuuut it is your car and you can do anything to it just be prepared for the people that know there way around cars.

Please don't up-badge. Extra badging is alright with me, though some people go overboard. And I don't have anything against de-badging either. I think down-badging is kinda cool, turning your car into more of a sleeper. But up-badging a car? No. And for me its not to protect the mighty SS either. If you had an SS and wanted to put Z/28 badges on I would have said the exact same thing.

Don't do it, in my opnion. I am constantly getting grief from people about SS emblems on my Chevelle. I bought the car years ago with the emblems on sides, grille and rear. I was able to remove the front and rear, but the sides would screw up the paint if I attempted to remove them. When those 6 numbers come up my way and the car gets a paintjob, the SS emblems are going in the trash!

Funny thing is, my small block Chevelle has about 50 horsepower more than the SS big block models back in the day!

There is an exceptions, if your LLT outperforms a SS than go crazy imo
