I am curious to see what you do with the stripes. Once you stripe it, are you going to do a photo shoot with both? That would look sweet.

LOL The avatar "Slash", besides being just a Cool Dude with tons of magical guitar playing mojo, also represents another significant part of my life. My father and brother were both passionate about guitar playing. My father, a Blue Grass musician and my brother more on the Rock-n-Roll side of the house.

FlashBack to November 17th, 1987 @ 7:30 P.M ( I still remember it like it was yesterday) My brother was 13 and I was 16. We played hookey from school that day to be first in line to see our first rock concert together.

An Unknown opening band, Guns-N-Roses took the stage (Appetite for Destruction Tour) nobody knew who they were really. My brother and I ended up on front row (right of stage) and this Cool Kat in a Top Hat played all night in front of us never really moving. Little did we know it was "Slash" who would become one of Rocks greatest guitarist and who would have known that Guns-N-Roses would become one of Rocks greatest Bands. Slash became our instant childhood hero and an HUGE inspiration to my brothers guitar playing style.

I recently started taking guitar lessons a couple years back.

To bad my brother and father are not around to toss a couple of playing tips my direction.

Oh .... they are around whether you realize it or not. They are smiling at you now.
