Hey bro.... I ordered mine on Oct. 8th and it's being delivered within the next week. You really need to talk to another dealer. If you log onto GM.com is say's the camaro has limited availability. I didnt look into it because i basically already have mine.

Let me know what you find out

Yeah i'm looking for another dealer as we speak... Pisses me off i can't stand the way most dealerships do business...

I know a dealer that bought one exactly like mine and its being delivered this week. Its not sold yet.

Hey brother, there are SS's on the lots here in Cincinnati. What dealer did you order from? I know Castrucci has a few and so does Columbia on Montgomery RD. But you heard it from Scotty, no SS constraint.

Yeah i seen that, but i think i found a good thing and i'm going with that. I was ordering from Sweeney and now i realize that they are full of BS!

I know you don't want to fly somewhere and drive home a long distance when you have dealers close to you, however if you find the right car for you I would recommend it. I was in the same boat as you last month and had been waiting around for my dealer to move my order along. It was over a month and it just kept sitting at 1100 status.

So I got in touch with Becky at Rodgers Chevrolet on this forum and she was great dealing with and found me exactly what I wanted. She was so great to deal with that I am flying up to Michigan next Friday from Tampa, FL to pick the car up from her! In my opinion the drive is worth it to get what you want and to not have any hassles with a dealer who is not moving things along for you. Becky was great to deal with.

It's great that you were able to get what you wanted, but if your Camaro was sitting in 1100 status, that isn't something that the dealer that you ordered from can "move along".

Curious, was the Camaro in question an SS?

Well i looked around and decided to get in touch with her. I'm gonna cancel my previous order and go with her. Plus she will deliver and if anything Detroit isn't to far away from Cincy so i would make that drive if i had too... I heard she was awesome to deal with so i'm gonna give her a try.. So far so good...

To me it seems that dealers are telling folks they have allocations when the truth is they do not. I think this is bad business and i will never take my car to the dealer i was dealing with. If your hurting for business i understand, but be honest with that person and let them know the deal.. If you don't have any allocations then let them know that. I know they want to keep a list but it's BS to tell people they can get the car in a certain amount of time and that not be the case... Wonder why car salesmen get a bad rap???
