Checked the Aeroforce fuel reading last night as well. The stock gauge seems pretty damn close and the Interceptor appears to be intercepting the reading pretty accurately as well.

Nothing sophisticated like some others do. Mostly I just wipe down all painted and plastic parts with a damp microfiber cloth and call it good. Do the trunk the same way after a pass with the vac.

Journal Entry catchup #2 05MAY2018
There'll be no such thing as a chronological order to any of these "catchup" posts. They'll just get thrown in as I find them.
KirkH, owner/operator of Bitchin' Camaro Detailing had a go at my car on the 5th of May. It got planned for him to come to my house but it started raining and I didn't have a covered place for him to work outside so I took it to him instead. Here's the OP over at Autogeek where he posted these pictures. Yeah, the title has the wrong year in it. He knows. Here's the list of stuff he used and pics he posted after. Keeping it here so I it's where I can get at it easier. Journal Entry catchup #3 Camaro Fest 7
A sprinkling of photos from our Camaro Fest 7 adventure.
I reckon JPSS gets the nod for my first honest performance mod. Had the brake system flushed and Motul 600 RBF fluid poured in. I have probably 500+ photos from that weekend but I don't think this is the place for all of them. |

You should definitely get one Don. Gentleman sitting across from us where we sat down to chow down was wearing it and I had to get a picture of it.
I think Chevrolet should've been issuing these with every SS purchase. |

AAC/Oracle makin' it right!
Got surprised today with a package from Oracle with my repaired right rear sidemarker in it. Woo to da emeffin Hoo! Took 5 minutes to get it installed and park the OEM marker back in its bed.
Going out in a little while to KirkH's to be a guinea pig for his CF8 car wash process. One of the perks of being nearby I reckon. |

Fiddlin' with what I have to fiddle with
Since I ain't got no highfalutin' mod things to putter with I re-arranged the cyclic scan on my Aeroforce Eliminator gauges.
There are just so many parameters these newfangled cars have and these gauges read. My car tuning experience comes from the day when "tuning" a car amounted to fiddlin' with the carburetor and tweaking the distributor to get a little more out of whatever you had. Nowadays there's a "hunert" different things to fiddle with and I'm right frighted to start fiddlin' with any of 'em. At some point in the next few years Imma gonna anyway. |

Heck Yeah, I enjoyed reading this and getting caught up... The story of a car is so interesting. I see you found Don to hang around with... nice... I'll be stopping in to check around periodically. I haven't spent as much time on here since my lil incident in Trinidad, but I'm trying to make a comeback...

It's very good to hear you're "on the mend" and almost cleared for duty. Thanks for stopping by. Looking forward to your future endeavors with Brandi. I haven't done much to my car these last few weeks but I am pining purdy hard core for these. If nothing else, it'll confuse the natives into thinking the car is a 6th gen. I do like the 6th gen "halos" better than the traditional 5th gen. Just gotta decide if I want to spend that money on these lights or getting my bike ship shape. |

Future lighting upgrades
If I can keep my wife from banging up her Malibu. Just spent the cost of these on her car after she encountered a wooden box in the middle of the road a truck in front view blocked and she couldn't avoid it. This set will still cost only about a third of OEM RS head and taillights + the Gen5DIY harnesses to make them work.
