So the SS does not come with those headlights standard. That is interesting.

If you want halo lamps, you will have to buy the RS package with either the V8 or the V6. This will make buying more expensive. They are HIDs, though. :seesaw:

Lotsa questions we still can't answer yet.......grrrrr.....

I understand.

But, one thing that caught my eye....Z28? A: We can't comment on FUTURE plans at this moment.

I'm excited to hear about GMPP. I can't WAIT to see what they offer!

All the messages I've seen point to waiting until the second model-year (or later). Thats frustrating.

I will wait for final pricing to decide if I will jump into an "early" model, or just wait (wait, wait, wait, wait, etc) for all the "future" models to be sorted out.

TOUGH DECISION!!! :(

Wait. The only Camaro guys who got screwed waiting were the guys who didn't buy the 1970 models when it came out. Every other F-Body generation had better models come out the following year or two after the first year of sales.

Kind of what I figured. I need the extra time anyway to reduce some debt load to get a better note. Thanks. Still frustrating! O well, woe is me.

What they are introducing is what I want in an R/S edition. I could only be happier it they had a light color blue or if they had picked a dark green- so if that is my only complaint Im good!

I like the Bumblebee comment. Well, if Z/28 will not make it out by Feb of 2010 then it looks like I'll be getting a RS/SS by Christmas Next year.

I don’t mind getting the RS package on the SS except for the 20 inch rims. The larger the rim the more unsprung weight and the worse the ride. With FE3 it’s going to be a tad hard as it is. I have 18’s on my car now and they are big enough. Not to mention there is more selection in 18” and 19” rim sizes. I’d hate to have to sell off the wheels and tires as soon as I get it. At least I can drop 40-60lbs of unsprung weight that way.

Love that we are getting brembos, maybe we can hope for a Recaro seat option. Hell if they can offer it in the Lancer Ralliart (below the Evo) and the 09 RX8 why not the Camaro?
