Thats true the driveline loss is a lot more with an IRS car with the 2 peice and the rubber for sure which is a huge bummer for us camaro guys but there are things to fix that!

First to cut a 1.5X sixty foot
First to cut a 1.4x sixty foot
First to car to cut a 1.3x 60ft

Judging by stock dyno results, losses look to be in the 13-15% range for the manual cars.

The biggest things are the tune and driving style.I've seen 500rwhp FI cars explode.

With turbo'sand roots you have to watch the torque mostly.All that load at low rpm can cause failures. With a Centrifical it can hit a peak hp more safely due to less boost down low.

Any car running 600+rwhp I strongly suggest a good methenol kit.It does wonders on saving the motor.

As for your question,we've done 800rwhp on a 08 Vette and has lasted a year so far.At anytime it can blow so keep that in mind.
