I still think we need to see a log, when you get to it, to really dig into what's going on here.

I’m definatly going to work on a data log.
Are you saying that the cfco is ok where I have it? I don’t see a way to completely disable it. Also what does 5.0 mean in the spark table? |

Yea, it will never hit the "enable" parameters, so it should be a non-factor. The values in the spark table are the ignition advance values to use when CFCO activates. The basic premise it to control RPM when the clutch is depressed, it ramps out the timing, and then I believe will even cut fuel if active long enough. If you have it disabled (as you have) then it's not relevant anymore.

Just wanted to update you guys that helped me. The hiccup is gone I am not sure exactly which fixed it but I did what y’all said and it’s gone.
I’m back overseas but the last race before I left I started driving through the clutch in high gear so when I come home I am going to a McLeod soft lok setup. I think the stock pressure plate was to weak. I had put a ram sintered iron paddle clutch in but kept the stock pressure plate. I spin a lot on the line anyway so I thing adjustable is the way to go Thanks for the help! |

I feel your pain - I finally made it to the track this fall. There is an RPM vs. Wheelspeed based limiter in the PCM. In factory configuration it holds the max RPM to 5000 when wheelspeed is under 10mph. That is not enough to launch with. And not only that, but if you're against that limiter when you launch, it takes a second for it to recover and go WOT, which holds it back even more. Back to the tuner tomorrow will solve that, and then hopefully some hero passes in this cool fall air before the snow flies.

I will go to a 2-step eventually. Right now there nothing between me and 7300, and that'll work for now. I would like to nudge it at least into the high 11's before the seasons out.

I shift at 6200 rpms jump about 300-350. It pops and shakes the tires though.
Even shifting it clutchless it shakes the tires and flares a little bit. Rev limiter is set to 7000 and I never touch it. I cross the 1/4 at 67-6800 rpm. It spits fire at night when I shift. I’ll post a video that that picture is taken from |
