The 260 hp turbo 4 that they considered putting in the camaro. The big thing is that it weighs 900 lbs less than the camaro v6, and over 1000 less than the v8.

I agree, and I think with some fine tuning of the suspension and a different driver it will.

Well I wouldn't be so hasty to can the driver, as above stated I doubt he was going all out on a car that isnt in production yet. On the drag coeff, I personally don't care that much about it as long as it is reasonable, which it is for me, and I would not sacrafice any cool exterior features to slightly improve this number.

The 140 or so more supercharged hp that it has? I don't know how people think it would run in 8 or under.

Did anyone else notice that it runs only 5 seconds slower than the LS2 C6 Corvette and 7 seconds slower than an 04 SRT 10 Viper?

Well, last I checked, its 700 pounds heavier than the corvette and only has 22 extra horsepower - not so great for both power/weight ratios and handling. As for the viper, I'm sure its the same thing. Seems pretty good by comparison.
