"When I initially tuned the car with the original intercooler, we were seeing pretty high starting IATs as well as a significant rise in temps throughout the pull even with methanol injection. With the new intercooler, the IAT increase during the pull was cut nearly in half (37* vs 20*) as well as a decrease of more than 10* during rest and normal driving. All pulls were made from 1500RPM - 6500RPM on a loaded dyno on the same day, in the same hour with no more than a 1 or 2* change in ambient temperature." If you want to see the difference in the charts you can check out @rk.tuning on Instagram it's the second picture on the page, or you can check out RKTuning on facebook I know he posted them on there too. But I can at least show you what it looks like on my car:

Check out the standard intercooler in the ESS Tuning kit. My buddy and I run similar setups, except he has a Procharger P1sc with the stage 2 cooler and e85 @10#s. My iats are 20 degrees cooler than his. I have the vortech v3si on 93 @10-11psi. The only downside of the ESS is the weight. Its redicously heavy.
Might as well throw in a plug for the ESS Tuning kit while im here. Its cheaper than most kits out there, and has made me very happy. Glad I gave them a chance.

I'll toss in my vote for a twins kit... AGP is a great option with lots of support and knowledge, and I would like to mention Hellion as well. They used to build a low mount kit, and now they're doing a high mount kit. They my still do the low kit if you are going for the sleeper look. My turbos are low mount....
There was another manufacturer I bought my original kit from that I refuse to even mention anymore.... I wish AGP had been available then, or that I had bought from Hellion.... We are fortunate here on Camaro5 that we have two great vendors providing great twins kits.... Again, mine are low mount and never an issue to this point.... I have driven the car in the rain, but at my current power levels I no longer drive in rain, and don't often drive on the street.... She has kind of graduated from that and is mostly used for track purposes now. Low mount kits remove a lot of under hood heat.... My turbo kit is now a custom one off set up we designed and built.... Intake manifold exhaust turbo manifolds, exhaust system, boost pipes etc....

I have AGP twins and love them, but if the OP isn't shooting for the moon, the LSA is a great way to make @ 650-700 rwhp and have o.e. levels of fit, finish and reliability.

I have the base agp kit and I love it on the street spools quickly and to hit your goal all you need is injectors plugs and a bap depending on the year of car, then when your ready for more just turn up the boost
