Here is an interesting short clip I just posted on YouTube. I let myself get baited into a discussion on lope vs. fake-chop so I went out and took a quick stab at a "chop" idle tune. It could use some more work to really get it to have the aggressiveness of the more extreme ones I've heard, but on a first pass that pretty well encompasses the difference. Love to know what you think.

I like a nasty idle too but as long as it still runs like a MOFO who cares!!

Too me you can tell the difference between the 2; the fake sounds about ready to cut off and the natural one well sounds natural - no cut off!!!

I love the extra hard chop sound. My car however is not tuned to sound like that, this making it a smooth great idle.

I love my choppy idle and Im an old bastard. I also dont question anything Howard Tanner & Redline do. They wrenched & tuned my former Procharged 2010 2SS/RS and they Built & Tuned my current Redline Phase 4 ZL1.
Sounds mean & nasty at idle and has the power to back up the Bad Ass Sound.

My first tuner never told me anything about my tune. Now that I think about it my car has a lumpy idle for having a stock cam.
