Just an update....

After installing these, I am now getting better mpg's.

I am getting almost 2 mpg more on average. I am talking mpg's on a average tank of gas, not just reseting the average fuel economy gauge and seeing what it gets while I'm driving down a certain stretch of raod. I reset the trip odometer and the average fuel economy after each fill up. When I drive Hwy/City like always, I was getting around 21 mpg on average with stock mufflers and now I'm getting around 23 mpg with these Flowmaster mufflers. You can't beat that with a stick. Better mpg's and better sound, looks like a win win situation to me.

It should. I've used the same delta 40 series mufflers in the past and they do smooth out quite a bit over about 3-6 months or so, depending on how much driving you do (takes about 5000 miles).

Price is going to depend upon shop. I've got Flows and tips, $282 out the door axleback. bronco here tried to dupilcate in his area, $400 or so. So depends upon your local shop too.

Other thing will be the type of piping and hangers... what quality are they using... most local shops, unless they are like a speed shop, are not going to be carrying things like 304 stainless steel pipes and rods...

Dear lord, I didn't need to see this. I was telling myself exhaust was too expensive but....maybe not. Are you running an intake as or any tune as well?

I have this exhaust setup which you know. I also have the Airaid intake v1.0 and I'm waiting on the v2.0 intake tube upgrade. The exhaust definitely sounds better with the Airaid verses the stock intake. I have no tune but I am running 93 octane fuel. I really like the sound of Flowmasters and they have gotten even better with miles on them now.

I don't plan on messing up my warranty that's why I haven't done any mods in between the intake and mufflers. Of course the warranty will be shot to s*#t if I have a STS Turbo installed, and that is a good possibility in the very near future.

nope, I haven't heard any.

That is what kept me from even thinking about a few of the exhaust setups for the V6 Camaro after I listened to the videos and heard that.
