They are definitely VERY similar...but I'd have to say the concept on exterior looks alone. As a car I would want to actually "DRIVE" I'd say the production.

The only two things I don't like about the production model are the side mirrors (They don't flow with the car), and the rear vents. I will most likely open those babies up...

I'd also like to see more color in the interior finish. I'm sure stuff like that will be options but I never liked the "all-black" interior. Yes, with the lights on it looks great, but during the day, black looks very "blah." I wasn't a fan of the "Playstation controller" look of the stereo but it's growing on me.

I like the production car, but this is for looks alone so I went with the concept

I just don't understand how people can prefer the prod! I mean, the prod's beautiful, but the concept was so wide, aggressive, mean, raw ...

Well, I guess this is why some people buy Kia cars and like them ... All tastes do exist

front end on the production looks more aggressive, better proportioned, interior is better, etc

-Front turn signals outside of headlights rather than inside
-Gas cap on top of fender
-Open vents in front of rear wheels
All better on concept even though I understand reasons for the changes and appreciate all the work the engineers have done.

Trim some weight and add an engine option better than 550HP and I'll place my order.

I like the production version better, much more agressive. It also is street legal and can go more than 40, which the concepts could not. Camaros' have never been shy about being extroverted.

Its possible to disagree with someone and still respect their opinion. And I can understand where some of the opinions are coming from. If everybody agreed on everything exactly it would likely not be a good sign for the human race.

My all time favorite was the "afterburner" affect with the old Pinto when it was hit from the rear, and Wayne's World would have not been so funny without them singing Bohemian Rhapsody in the Pacer. I remember worrying about being caught at a light with a Pinto in front of me and one of the Audi's that was supposed to take off on it own when you pressed the brake pedal...... :seesaw:

I actually don't like the combination of slammed stance and large wheels. To me the concept looked too long and low, liked it was made of silly putty and stretched out. I was sooo thrilled to see the production version. I do miss the concept's gas cap placement and smooth rear bumper, but I understand why those changed and I can certainly live with the new ones. Reverse lights annoy, however.

I said the concept, only because it looks longer, and sleeker.

That might have held some truth 2 years ago. might have. But there is nothing that can stop the Camaro from entering production now.
