$30k in 2009 is $36k in 2019 adjusted for inflation. A very attractive price for what's offered on the 2020 LT1. I hope this Camaro sells sells sells! It really should.

This is great news. Even better would be the choice of all season tires on the SS as well.

Here in New England, summer tires are useless for about 8 months; that's 2/3 of the year.

After the 2019 "refresh" I was seriously considering a Mustang. Not any more.

They didn't do anything but put the emblem in the grill and paint the rest of the bumper body color as far as cosmetics go.

Thinking back, I got an online survey asking about this type of thing. What would be your preference in a Camaro. This is what I voted for.
I see at the bottom of the page https://media.chevrolet.com/media/us...02-camaro.html
they said it does have smart phone play. That is getting more important as it replaces music and navigation as not needed expense and duplication on the car. As said above a garage door opener or gate opener is also increasingly important. With the frequency of car break-ins now I don't like to have a remote loose in the car.

The LT1... Now that's smart.

Good job, GM.

I’m glad they paid attention... now if we could get them to do something about that hideous new Silverado HD that’s gonna start showing up later this summer.

I’m glad to see they listened and are giving some good options. Hopefully they get sales back up, but as someone else said, they need to market this thing to get numbers up as well. The happy birthday Mustang Camaro gift commercial was a great start. Now they need to keep pushing. Another thing that would be cool to see is a street legal version of a COPO. No cage, minimal creature comforts, and insane amounts of go fast straight power.

I wonder now if the 2019 SS (Black bumper version) is going to be a valuable unicorn in 20-30+ years? A one year only, unique looking model with few (relatively) models sold...it's certainly possible, but it could go either way.

Yes, and that relieved 99.99% of the negative feedback on the appearance of the '19 SS.

It's possible, but just because something is rare doesn't mean it's valuable. I think with as much distaste for it as there was, that it may end up being a black sheep of the Camaro family.

Sorry to be the one....but I don't like it. Starting to look like a Charger now.
I wish the big 3 would stick to what made us fall in love with American muscle. They no longer have an identity....everybody wants to look euro.....which makes them all look the same.

Hmmm ok not bad. Its similar to the ls1 Camaros from '98 to '02, in which they had two v8 models, the cheaper z28 and the top of the line 'SS. In a way I believe this is what they needed, because a lot of people balked at the $50k price tag of a Camaro. It may boost overall v8 Camaro sales, while the 'SS models may take a slight hit in sales. Chevrolet also will need to be careful, and make the base model appealing as well. I think this will be a great thing, to have an affordable "rocket" of a car. They can leave 'SS and ZL1 in place, because there is a market for Camaro buyers that want more content.

Hopefully this will be the shot in the arm that will boost Camaro sales.
