You have to tape off the area, measure your placement 167 times, sedate yourself to reduce the anxiety of drilling the first hole and cut along the lines you created on the tape. I used an air saw, some use a cutoff wheel, but the hood is aluminum, so a wheel might clog some. I went with smaller vents that are outside the stripes. I also bought different hardware with nylock nuts to be sure it would not loosen up and I put a very small amount of sealant around the mounting surface to reduce potential vibration.

Be careful not to overtighten the screws as that will create small ripples in the sheet metal. Also think about what you are going to do about the insulation on the underside of the of the hood.

Just seen a install video on these vents.

Not sure I can cut that out myself.

Probably just pay a body shop to do that so I don't mess it up!
