Haven't raced yet believe it or not, probably will this summer. However the 2010 Charger is different than 06-08 model.

I beat my friends 2010 Charger R/T twice now with my Altima. Yes they are quick but they are also heavy, have an outdated 5 speed auto, and a drag co-efficient of 0.345. I would say a drivers race.

yup they did a few changes to the motor in 2009+ its more efficient and more powerful....
yeah they are heavy and you can tell by looking at the front (and all the dead bugs i'm constantly scrapping off) its not the most aerodynamic car, its big and heavy, it looks mean and has a V8... its a muscle car, this is also the heaviest car i've ever had (not counting my trucks)...
As far as the old W5A580 (same as mercedes 5G-Tronic) Transmission it is the same one I had in my 05 V6 RWD Grand Cherokee never had problems with them... The Aisin Warner AY6 6spd Manual mated with the LLT is another story, there is a thread on here where over half of manual V6 owners are having problems with them.

anyway, let us know how the race goes... my Camaro was stock, i see in your sig that you have allot done to yours, i hear the long tube headers do wonders for the LLT.

I tried it once!

You should expect your V6 to reach 60 mph when the Charger reaches 120mph !!

These are the limits of the V6, dont go for it or you will hate your car forever.

If it is an 06-08 without the road and track pack or a Daytona, you should be able to give it a good race, but the others can hit high 13s stock and akll 09+ charges have the improved Hemi and should be capable of mid 13s stock.

It isn't a Daytona, but it does have the R/T track pack or whatever it is. Also the thing is now on 22's, which I don't think is going to be good for the track. He has a predator tune, CAI and catback. My mods are in my sig.

Comparing the mods, even with the 22s i would give him the ever slightest advantage, though the 22s will hurt him.

The Road and Track pack for the 2009-2010's R/T's are essentially the same as what was in the Daytona.

Well we aren't talking about the 2009-2010 Chargers. We're talking about the road and track pack on a 2006-2008 model. Is it still the same?
