The one I put on my 09 GT was about $160 delivered. It was an axle-back muffler delete set-up with longish 4", dual walled resonators at the tips. It sounded great. The one for the 10-15 Camaros is about $200 delivered and its system includes mini-mufflers or "exhaust chambers" just before the resonators. It's cheap but I have to tell ya, I got a lot of compliments on the Mustang sound. My son-in-law, who, quite frankly, is a Bow-Tie guru and all around exhaust sound fan, was impressed.
Here's a link to the Camaro set-up: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rev9-CB-121...QAAOSwBN9c5Hg4 |

Supercharger and a catch can. You don’t need anything else.

Welcome to the site and 5th gen Camaros!
For cold air intakes thre top 3 referred are Roto-fab, Cold Air Inductions (CAI), and Vararam. Exhaust, if check out the "sticky" in the V8 exhaust sub-forum, but I've been running Solo Mach XL catback for 4 years and still love it. Headers all depends on what you want to spend. Forum favorites by price bracket are: Higher priced: Kooks, Stainless Works, ARH Mid priced: OBX, Stainless Power, Texas Speed Budget: Speed Engineering Tune, go with a custom tune from a reputable tuner. Don't get a "canned" tune from one of those "plug and play" tuners. As for a cam it won't be cheap because you'll have to pull your heads to eliminate the AFM lifters. You can get an AFM friendly cam, but you're leaving a lot on the table power wise and AFM lifters are prone to fail with extra heavy performance use. For my car I have a Roto-fab intake, Bo White ported throttle body (a must have IMO for a L99 car), Kooks long tube headers with high flow cats, Solo Mach XL catback, and BTR stage 2 NA cam. I enjoy my setup and actually got 21mpg on a road trip this summer with some very spirited driving at times.

You don’t mention it on you wish list but I’m a big proponent of suspension upgrades. Just adding better suspension stuff makes the car more enjoyable in all situations. It’s also something you can easily do by yourself and not really fubar anything that can’t easily be corrected in most instances.
I’m waiting for a used Z28 CAI. I just like OEM stuff in most circumstances.

Guys, I followed all the "fuse pull" links and searched on here as well, there is nothing that actually says what it does. Now I haven't checked YouTube, because well I have a V6. Just keep in mind when you tell someone where to find it, make sure they can actually find it there. Just an FYI
As for the OP, welcome to the site and 5th Gen world. new technology is new to me so I'm learning tons from these guys. I've always had the same ideas for first mods on cars that I've built, "make is inhale better, make it exhale better, give it more food" and now with computer controlled cars i'd add a tune because after all that, you've changed the car quite a bit. So Intake (CAI, maybe ported intake manifold), Exhaust (headers, maybe complete system), Fuel (ported Throttle Body, Injectors if you're adding forced induction), tune (lots and lots of tune options for the 5th Gen V8s). Two pieces of advise: Shop Around, research everything.

Much better, thanks. And am I correct that this will not do anything for the V6?

Tons of great pointers here, gang. Thanks! You've given me dozens of ideas where I can begin more in-depth research.
