Shit man that sucks. That is heart breaking. Not to mention we all hate to lose a 1LE.
Strike it up to you're all safe and move on with life, there are more cars, but we can all mourn the loss of a beauty.

Took a ride in the Kettle Moraine area today. Trees were just starting to turn so, I’ll have to give it another try in a couple weeks. Here’s how this relates to your situation, drago. This area is a real twist and turns kind of ride with canopy enclosing the rode in quite a few spots. Yesterday it was 54* and today it was 84*. In the canopy areas, the roads were wet and at times had a slick look to them with the humidity that was prevalent. On an uphill turn, which required a little oomph, I just so happen to think of this thread whilst feeling the back end just so slightly breaking loose. Was enough to make me think, easy buddy, not worth what can happen. Again, sorry for you predicament and hope it all ends well for you.

How much are they saying your car is worth? Front bumper, rear bumper, driver front fender, driver door, driver rear quarter panel, exhaust, suspension, frame time, welding, paint, etc..quite a bit of damage.

Count your blessings. Sorry for the loss. If it were me, I'd ask to take off the bolt-ons, and then start fresh. Its a lot of damage, and me being the perfectionist I'd hate to contend with body shops trying to get something right again (especially if they tell you that nothing else can be done).

When my car was totaled (but driveable) the insurance company said for $650 I could keep the car, which is the amount I would have received if I drove it into a junk yard. I choose to let StateFarm keep it.
