My guess why the racks have anything to do with the strike is those cars are disassembled as far as possible and waititng for their parts to arrive. First come first serve. Sorry if this was mentioned before.

SO when Ever I do not appreciate a fellow Union which Is many;
Being a Conservative Disabled Veteran of the Infantry who works At a PENITENTIARY with the lowest life span of anyone on any job expectancy; I do not fail to lend a hand to fellows who are not union members like I have had the Privilege of being in many varied ones for over thirty years who do not Get wages by Holding Companies Hostage and trying to Destroy them. I cannot strike, and Many of those Union Members who earn more BTW than me And my Fellow Corrections Professionals or Cops etc... Don't appreciate lots of Liberal Money flowing out of unions to Fight for big government and I sure don't appreciate someone who gets so much more than average with a easier job to deal with. I have had strike before, once. Its was because of long standing ignoring of COLA'S like for decade no raise kind of deal..... I realize GM our Camaros maker is in a fight, and any Corporation is made up of people, they are the stock holders and not just workers who can make up the company. Hurting GM badly is not the right thing to do IMO in this case but hey surely things like this may not be the ultimate downfall of Chevrolet, but who are you to judge that? Evil lives, Greed is real, I see teachers the second the Government, (even though its so damn liberal here); the Friggin Millisecond the Government starts to rake in more in Taxes Pimp out kids on the corner to Hold signs for them to get more money so they can warp their minds into Garbage we were smart enough and unbrainwashed enough to learn to hate. Not the same Hate they have for our country they get taught without learning history. And yes they never get better at teaching with way more money...and still ride the bottom of the nations schools..... imagine that..wonder who they fund ? SO me I just try to look out for my own as some would say oh look at the worst treated worker.... YUP so what, workers at where I work are on trial probation for a year, it's hard to find people to clear a back ground check or get someone to Serve because... ….SO those that have things generally better when averaged out should count their blessings, because life is short and for some of us that much shorter; SO sayeth the guy who damn near died in January From a Ascending Aortic Dissection from high blood pressure and smoking of course...just trying to walk in to work one day..... Survive that. Then go back to work working just as hard as you can as soon as you can again in the same place. Trust me, some of us out there do look out for others, some of us shit more stress before breakfast than some deal with all day...… I remember running Five miles before breakfast just because. MURR And so when you pay more in the future, who fights for the consumer, only we can. Holy crap gotta go they got Bentleys and Rolls on FOX news ….

Well, all is not lost for you. You can wait it out, and probably, the warranty will cover it, hopefully without too much of a fight.
Or, being so close to the limits of the warranties now, just have it flat towed to the performance shop of your choice. |

Zurich as confirmed I am under warranty...I suck at waiting. I don't understand why it took them 5 full days to say the engine is ceased... I knew that when I had it towed. That doesn't take a rack. Again I suck at waiting. Hopefully some news today, all though its doubtful with the strike talks taking a turn for the worse yesterday. I can't imagine being on strike for over a month |

The most recent update:
"Clint Jessi 4:14 PM (1 hour ago) to me Hey Liv, So my technician notified we moved it back outside so we can make sure we can clear some availability for one of our racks because once the Camaro is on the rack, we will need it on there for quite some time. I am hoping to put it back on the rack because we will need to drop the pan. I was informed that my tech did hear/notice the metal noise you had which led him to think that motor had seized. I will reach out to you tomorrow with an update. Hope you have a great rest of your day. Clint" So many things with this are just wrong to me...my engine is ceased, how would the tech hear any noise....for one! Okay, we are going on day 9 of no tear down to start the warranty process. Wonder how long this is gonna take. I am frankly going insane! |

There's probably some truth to an above statement and they are also communicating with Zurich as to what they will pay for. This has much to do with how they will proceed. Whether Zurich wants them to rebuild it, replace with a remanufactured engine, or a new engine. As well as paying for the diagnostic if it is a covered issue. In the meantime, your advisor is correct. Once the tear down starts, that rack is committed to your car. Each rack is a major revenue generator, and this space is dedicated to certain techs. It's probably a matter of finishing up another car, before putting yours in there for multiple days. |

Thank you. I am trying my best to be patient and understand. Its just hard. They have had my car for 11 days and I suck at waiting. I am so far away, and feel like I am being put on the back burner. I feel horrible for those that are on strike and out of pay. I am also trying to learn more every day, so I can understand. Its hard when Zurich says to me, we'll have our inspector out to inspect your vehicle within 48 hours of the R.O. being submitted and your parts on order within 24 hours of that...and here the dealership sits with (in my uneducated opinon) little to no progress after 11 days. |

I have no doubt that the strike is slowing things down, I ordered a bowtie base for my heritage grill from my local dealer today and was told it’s a minimum of 2 weeks out because of the strike.
